Our Ungui plushie is inspired by the Proboscis Monkey of Borneo Island. The name comes from the Dusunic language. Proboscis monkeys have complex stomach to process the plants & fruits they eat and only consume unripe fruits since ripe fruits contain sugar that will ferment in their stomachs, leading to fatal bloating. The biggest threat to their population is habitat loss due to human development of the mangrove areas. Check with your local Sabah Wildlife Dept office for info on how you can help to support wildlife conservation.

Made with anti-pill polar fleece fabric & stuffed with non-allergenic polyfiber fill, they're soft to the touch and easy to clean. Dimensions approx. 10cm diameter x 21cm tall (exclude limbs & tail measurements).
