Kakamot ®️ is an artisanal brand established in 2015 by self-taught artist, Frida Sarto. 'Kakamot' is a Dusunic word for 'things'. Being multidiciplined and experimental by nature, the Kota Kinabalu based brand produces a variety of 'kakamot/things' such as soft toys, bags, felt illustrations and woodwork pieces. Kakamot find its muse in Borneo's flora & fauna and aims to support the education of wildlife and environmental conservation through quirky hand-made designs.
